Milk & Honey is truly changing what a community coffee shop can be here in Oakboro. This isn’t your average place to grab a drink — it’s becoming a full community hub where people feel welcomed, supported, and connected the moment they walk in the door. Their new space is an incredible stepping stone for what they’re building. Watching them grow from their old location into this new, larger environment has been inspiring. You can feel the intention behind everything they do — it’s warm, inviting, and set up in a way that encourages people to gather, study, talk, grow, and feel at home. They host amazing Bible study groups and so many community-centered events. It’s clear they genuinely love giving back and pouring positivity into Oakboro. This town needed a place like this — somewhere people can network, relax on a porch, bring a laptop, meet friends, or just enjoy a quiet moment. And the drinks? Fantastic. I’m not a big coffee person myself, but their energy drinks are incredible — some of the best I’ve had. You can tell they put effort and creativity into everything they serve. Milk & Honey is becoming the heart of Oakboro, and I’m grateful to have a place like this in our community. Highly recommend stopping by — you’ll feel right at home.

The employee who assisted me was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The quality of both the drinks and the customer service really stood out. Me and my friend visited milk and honey today and the coffee was delicious, we were unaware of how much expresso was in the different drink sizes, she has a heart condition and this was very dangerous for her. I highly recommend the coffee tasted amazing!! No complaints on the business at all, very sweet staff and a very cute building! I just wish the amounts of expresso in each size was stated on the latte menu!

This is hands down the best coffee spot in town! You can genuinely taste the quality and the amount of love they put into every single cup. Beyond the amazing coffee, the atmosphere is exactly what a local shop should be—it feels like a true community location. I love that they support other local makers, too. It’s so fun to grab a coffee and browse the local jewelry, bakery cookies, and other unique items they have for sale. If you are looking for great flavor and a place that really cares about its neighbors, this is the spot!

Love this coffee bar , so much that I gave gift cards to friends for Christmas. There’s something for everyone rather you like coffee or not . Their prices are better than those fancy high price places. They bake their scones fresh daily and many other goodies too . Support locals and try them out !
